Plans, Trial, and Usage
How the free Siren Cloud Pro trial works, how to choose a paid plan during or after it, what each plan includes, how engine activity is counted, and what you control under Billing & Usage.
Siren Cloud
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Every new Siren Cloud organization can start with a free 30-day trial of Siren Pro, with no card. Choose a paid plan during the trial or after it ends, and your organization keeps everything you built. If you already know which plan you want, you can buy one straight away instead.
Siren Cloud has three plans: Essentials, Plus, and Pro. Each one includes everything in the plan below it, and each comes with a monthly allowance of engine activity. Prices and the annual discount are on the Siren Cloud pricing page.
The free Pro trial
Your trial starts when you sign up for one, as Create Your Siren Cloud Account describes, and it includes everything in Siren Pro and the Pro activity allowance. It runs for 30 days and needs no card. Moving a WordPress store into Siren Cloud also starts the trial, once per organization.
During the trial, Admins see a “Pro trial” banner with the number of days left. Use the time to connect a sales channel and create and test your program, then choose the plan that fits it. When the trial ends without a plan, your organization keeps everything you built, and Admins can still sign in, but most screens ask you to choose a plan first (see Without an active plan).
Choose or change a plan
During the trial, click “View plans” on the trial banner. After the trial ends, click “Choose a plan” in the sidebar. Both open the Siren Cloud pricing page. On a paid plan, “View plans” on a screen your plan doesn’t include opens the same page. Choose monthly or annual billing and click the buy button on the plan you want. Checkout runs on the Siren website, and your card details go straight to Stripe.
At checkout, the organization’s first Admin should enter the email they sign in to Siren Cloud with, because the plan attaches to the organization by that email. Your organization moves onto the plan with its programs, collaborators, and history in place. An organization with no plan picks up its new plan within a couple of minutes. A change from one paid plan to another shows within the hour. Nobody is signed out either way.
To skip the trial, buy a plan from the pricing page before you have an organization. Siren sets up your organization and your login for the email you buy with, as Buy a plan describes.
While founding spots remain, the first 20 accounts to buy a plan get 50% off the plan’s price, applied at checkout. The discount lasts as long as the subscription stays active and ends if you cancel. It doesn’t cover usage credits or tax, and a trial doesn’t hold a spot. The Siren Cloud pricing page shows whether spots are left.
What each plan includes
Every plan runs unlimited programs and collaborators, the collaborator portal, the REST API and webhooks, and the standard commission types for sales. Each plan also includes the features listed for it below, and the plans above it include them too.
| Plan | Features | Engine activity per month |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | Program groups, distributors, custom currencies and store credit, spent at connected WordPress stores, lead and renewal conversions, fixed commissions per lead or per product, pooled, top score, and every-engagement commissions, and blog post, form, product, and course triggers | 5,000 |
| Plus | Collaborator groups, automatic payouts through PayPal and Stripe, customer filters, and lifetime commissions | 50,000 |
| Pro | Upline and downline cascades, and ranked and parent-child collaborator groups | 500,000 |
When your plan doesn’t include a feature, its screen says “Your organization’s plan doesn’t include this” and offers “View plans”. If you move to a lower plan, records you made on the higher one stay in place, but the features behind them stop. For example, below Plus, collaborator groups can’t be changed and payouts set to PayPal or Stripe stay unpaid for you to pay another way, as Payouts that stay unpaid describes. Lifetime customer links are the exception. Links you made keep crediting below Plus, and a customer’s page shows “The Plus plan includes lifetime customer links.” in place of the link buttons until you’re on Plus again, as Lifetime Commissions describes.
Siren Cloud plans share their names with the WordPress plugin’s editions, but they’re bought separately. When a guide in these docs says it requires Siren Plus, on Siren Cloud that means a Plus or Pro plan.
Engine activity
Siren Cloud counts engine activity each calendar month. It’s the number of engagements Siren records, each one a tracked touchpoint that ties a collaborator to a possible reward, plus the number of metrics recorded for distributors. Your plan’s allowance resets on the first of each month.
The “Engine activity” card on your dashboard shows how much of this month’s allowance you’ve used, split into engagements and metrics. It warns you at 75% and 90%, and again when you pass 100%. From 90%, Admins also see a banner across every screen, and it turns red with an “Add usage credits” link if the engine pauses. Siren Cloud also emails Admins as usage grows.
Billing & Usage
Admins manage what happens past the allowance in the account menu under Settings > Billing & Usage, which also shows your plan’s overage rate per engagement. These settings apply once your organization has a paid plan. Until then, the screen says that no billing subscription is connected and offers “Choose a plan”.
Under “When you exceed your monthly allowance”, choose one of two options:
- “Pause the engine” holds new visits, sales, and the Stripe and Shopify webhooks Siren Cloud receives until next month begins. You’re never billed for overage.
- “Use usage credits” draws activity past the allowance from a prepaid credit balance, so processing never stops while credits last.
When you choose “Use usage credits”, more settings appear. To keep credits from running out, turn on “Automatically add credits when the balance runs out” and choose a top-up amount of $10, $25, $50, or $100. A “Monthly budget” caps what automatic top-ups can spend. When the budget is used up, the engine pauses instead. Leave the budget at $0.00 for no cap. Click “Save settings” to apply your choices.
To add credits by hand, click “Add credits”. Credits are charged to your saved payment method, with a minimum of $5.00, and they’re billed in US dollars whatever currency your programs pay in.
While the engine is paused, visits, sales, and the Stripe and Shopify webhooks Siren Cloud receives wait in a queue and are processed in the order they arrived once processing resumes, either after you add credits or when the month resets. Queued events count toward the month they’re processed in. The queue holds up to 10,000 events. When it’s full, or an event has waited 35 days, Siren Cloud turns new events away, and the store or service that sent them has to try again later.
Without an active plan
When your trial ends without a plan, or a plan lapses, your organization keeps running in the background. Connected stores and WordPress sites keep sending sales, WordPress sites keep sending visits, Siren Cloud keeps recording them, and your collaborators can still sign in and use their portal. The tracking line stops recording new visits a short while after the plan ends.
Admins and Platform Managers can still sign in too, and they land on Integrations. The sidebar shows Integrations, Properties, “Choose a plan”, and for Admins, Billing & Usage. You can connect a store in this state, and Admins can get the connector for a WordPress site. Every other screen asks you to choose a plan.
Your plan on the Siren website
The Siren website has an account area for what you’ve bought from Siren. Sign in there with your Siren Cloud login. Subscriptions lists the Siren Cloud plans bought with your email, each with the date it renews. “Cancel plan” asks you to confirm, then keeps the plan active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Unused usage credits aren’t refunded. Until that date, “Keep my plan” undoes the cancellation. Its menu also holds Downloads & Keys, Order History, Affiliate, and Settings, and while you hold a Siren Cloud plan, “Open Siren Cloud” at the top opens your dashboard without a second sign-in.
