What's the difference between the WordPress edition and Cloud?
One engine, two ways to run it. The WordPress edition is the plugin on this page. Install it on your site, where it hooks directly into WooCommerce, your LMS, and the rest of your stack, licensed yearly per site with a free tier to start on. Cloud is the hosted version we run for you, built for programs that reach beyond a single WordPress site.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Siren Lite is free. Create a free account and download it right here, no credit card required. It's a genuinely capable affiliate plugin: run unlimited programs, track referrals via links or manual credit, pay flat or percentage commissions, and record payouts by hand. Upgrade to Essentials, Plus, or Pro when you outgrow it.
How do the four WordPress tiers build on each other?
Each tier is a strict superset of the one below. Lite runs unlimited affiliate programs with link and manual tracking. Essentials adds Program Groups (so overlapping programs don't pay out twice on the same sale) plus coupon code tracking, more reward models, integrations, and a Collaborator Portal. Plus is where affiliates become teams: Collaborator Groups, priority support, and early access to new features as they ship. Pro adds partner hierarchies and cascading commissions for partners who recruit and lead teams of their own.
How does licensing work across sites?
Paid WordPress licenses are billed annually and cover a single WordPress site. Running Siren across many client sites? That's what the agency program is for: bulk licensing through our agency channel.
Will Siren slow down my site or fight my caching plugin?
No. Siren was designed for performance from the start, and tracking, attribution, and commission calculations run efficiently even on high-traffic stores. Tracking is first-party and runs against your own database, so it works alongside standard caching setups instead of depending on fragile page-level workarounds.
Does Siren support WooCommerce Subscriptions?
Yes. You can configure programs to pay commissions on the initial purchase, on renewals, or both.
Do I get plugin updates and support?
Yes. Every plan includes automatic updates for as long as your license is active. Open a support ticket and we'll get back to you. Paid plans include email support, and Plus and Pro subscribers get priority response times.
What if I need something Siren doesn't do out of the box?

Does Siren work with AI-agent commerce (ChatGPT, Google UCP, agentic checkout)?
Yes, because Siren's attribution model was never click-only. An opportunity fires on any attributable event: a click, a coupon, a bound post visit, a partner-specific product sale. When a customer buys through an AI assistant without ever visiting your site, the conversion can still attribute correctly through the artifact they consumed earlier, like a post they read or a product variant bound to the partner. Can I upgrade tiers later?
Anytime. Tiers are additive, so every program, collaborator, and payout you've configured carries straight over when you move up. Nothing to rebuild.
