Team members are the people who run your program with you: they build programs, review conversions, and pay collaborators. They’re different from collaborators, the partners who earn rewards and sign in to their own portal. You add collaborators under Manage > Collaborators, and team members under Settings > Members.
Only Admins can manage members, and the Members screen needs an active plan or trial.
Roles
Each member has one of two roles.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything, including members, billing, API keys, and organization settings. |
| Platform Manager | Runs programs, collaborators, conversions, payouts, webhooks, and integrations. No access to members, billing, or API keys. |
A Platform Manager doesn’t see Members, Notifications, Billing & Usage, API keys, Applications, Products, or the Customer data tab under Import & Export. Platform Managers can build application forms, though they don’t see the applications. Admins and Platform Managers can both enter the Stripe and PayPal credentials that payouts use, as Set Up Automatic Payouts describes.
Invite a member
Open the account menu and choose Settings > Members
The account menu is the button with your organization's name at the bottom of the sidebar.
Click "Add member"
The dialog explains what each role can do.
Enter their email and choose a role
The role starts as Platform Manager.
Click "Add member" in the dialog
Someone who already has a Siren account joins straight away. Anyone else gets an emailed invitation to create an account.
The invited person opens the link in the email and either chooses a password and clicks “Accept invitation”, or continues with a Google, GitHub, or Microsoft account that uses the invited address. Under the button the page says that creating the account means agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and Siren Cloud records that when they accept. Until they do, the Members list shows them as “Invited”, with the date. An invitation works once and lasts 7 days, after which it shows “Invite expired”.
To send the email again, click “Resend”, and the link in the earlier email stops working. To cancel an invitation, click “Revoke”, and the link stops working. You can invite the same person again later.
Change a member’s role
Pick a new role from the “Role” column. The change reaches their open browser tab within about a minute, without a reload. Every organization keeps at least one Admin, so Siren Cloud refuses to change or remove the last one.
Limit a member to certain Properties
If your organization has several stores, each one a Property, you can keep a Platform Manager to the Properties they look after. Once they’ve joined, click “Properties” on their row, choose the Properties they can reach or “Every property”, and click “Save”. A Platform Manager limited to some Properties can get the “Property admins” reward emails for them, as Notifications and Email describes. Admins always reach every Property.
Remove a member
Click “Remove” on their row and confirm. They lose access to your organization right away, and you can add them again later. Your own row has no “Remove” button, so another Admin has to remove you.
