Last updated: July 10, 2026

Siren 3.4.0, released June 29, 2026, is the first version of Siren Affiliates on WordPress.org, so the free plugin installs straight from the WordPress plugin directory. It adds a starter recipe browser that sets up a store’s first program from a ready-made template.

Two patch releases followed. 3.4.1 fixes order recording in Siren Lite and the collaborator portal layout. 3.4.2 adds lifetime commissions and customer filters to Siren Plus and headless event tracking to Siren Pro. All three versions went to WordPress.org and to the paid editions.

Starter Recipe Browser (All Editions)

A store with no programs gets a “Browse recipes” option. It opens a catalog of ready-made setups, filtered to what your store can run, so you can start from a working program instead of a blank form.

  • Search the catalog to find a setup that matches your store
  • Open a recipe’s detail page to see what it creates before you apply it
  • Apply it with “Use this recipe”
  • A recipe that needs a higher plan shows an upgrade prompt

Bug Fixes

3.4.1, July 3, 2026

  • Lite: Fixed Siren Lite failing to record orders. In Siren Lite 3.4.0, a service that the WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, LearnDash and LifterLMS integrations need was missing from the free build. Every WooCommerce order failed Siren’s processing and got an “Error saving order” note, and no order on a Lite store earned a commission. 3.4.1 includes the missing service, so orders record and credit collaborators again. See the quick start.
  • Essentials and up: Fixed the collaborator portal sitting under its own sidebar. A stylesheet change in 3.3.0 dropped styles the portal needed, so the left edge of every portal screen was hidden behind the menu on 3.3 and 3.4.0. See the collaborator dashboard and customizing the collaborator portal.

3.4.2, July 10, 2026

Lifetime Commissions (Plus)

A customer can stay linked to the collaborator who referred them, so their later purchases credit that collaborator with no new click or coupon. You can link a customer by hand on their WordPress user profile, or let Siren link them when a sale is approved. See lifetime commissions and the opportunity bound to collaborator trigger.

Customer Filters (Plus)

Programs and distributors get a “Customer Filters” card. Its first filter, “Skip Already-Attributed Customers”, stops a program from crediting a customer someone already brought in, so a program meant for new customers pays only for new ones. Leave it off in the program that pays lifetime credit. Lifetime commissions explains how the two work together.

Headless Event Tracking (Pro)

Headless sites can send sale, refund and site-visited events to Siren on WordPress. The event endpoint had been left out of the WordPress builds, so these calls got a 404. 3.4.2 ships it in Siren Pro, and the Essentials and Plus editions leave it out. Sale events also record without the 500 error some of them returned. See headless introduction, headless attribution and the events reference.

Improvements

  • Recipe exports include product owner mappings and the lead requalification setting, so a recipe you export and apply elsewhere keeps them. See working with recipes.

Tier Change

Headless event ingestion is a Siren Pro feature from 3.4.2 on.
