When a customer who is linked to a collaborator makes a purchase, the “Opportunity Bound To Collaborator” event is triggered. It creates an engagement for each linked collaborator, in each of their active programs that track this trigger, even when the shopper didn’t click a referral link or use a coupon. It needs Siren Plus or Pro.

How it’s typically used

This trigger powers lifetime commissions, where a collaborator keeps earning from the customers they brought in. You link customers to collaborators on the Customers screen, or let a program link them when a sale is approved, as Lifetime Commissions describes. The link names the collaborator, and this trigger is what pays them.

The engagement goes through the program like any other. If another collaborator’s click or coupon also engaged the customer, the program’s structure decides who earns.

On Siren Cloud, every plan offers this trigger, so links made on Plus or Pro keep crediting after a move to a lower plan. Making new links needs Plus or Pro.
