Introducing Siren Lite
Siren Lite is free, uncapped, and runs on your real WordPress site in production. Unlimited programs, affiliates, conversions. Every integration. Full REST API. Meant for proving the model before you commit.
Siren Lite is the free version of Siren. It’s a multi-program incentive system that installs on your WordPress site with no cap on programs, collaborators, or obligations, and no timer. Build the programs your business actually runs, keep them installed as long as you want.
The full attribution engine, every integration, and the complete REST API are all in Lite. So are unlimited programs, affiliates, and conversions. The paid tiers add a branded partner portal, rules for when two programs on the same sale should compete instead of both paying, and distributors for things like revenue splits and performance pools.
Most “free” WordPress affiliate plugins are a demo with the interesting parts removed or a trial with a clock. Lite isn’t either. It’s a production-grade multi-program incentive system in its own right.
What’s in Lite
Siren is built on a multi-program model instead of a single-program one. Other affiliate plugins give you one program weighed down by “special cases” piled on individual partners and products until the thing is hard to maintain. Siren lets you create as many distinct programs as your business actually runs.
- A standard affiliate program
- A refer-a-friend program
- A content-based program for bloggers who earn on post views
- A sales-team performance bonus
Each program has its own clean configuration, and none of them bleed into the others. That’s what makes Siren very flexible by design, and it’s what makes it easier to maintain and extend as a program roster grows.
Lite runs on that same foundation. When a customer buys, Siren attributes the conversion to the right programs, calculates the commissions, records the obligations, and hands you a clean payout export. Partners self-serve their links and codes through a dashboard. Whatever WordPress commerce plugin you’re running, Lite supports it.
Run as many programs as you want on a single site, with no cap on collaborators or obligations. As long as your programs can safely run in parallel and it’s okay if they stack, you’ll likely be able to build your program on Lite. The pricing page has the exact breakdown of what’s in Lite versus Essentials, Plus, and Pro if you want to check specifics.

We built Lite because we wanted more people to have a real way to start when they’re setting up an affiliate program for the first time. Siren is very flexible by design, and the more people running it on real sites, the better chance we have of seeing programs built in ways we didn’t imagine. The paid tiers add stacked programs, the branded portal, and distributors. Those are genuinely different capabilities, not features carved out of Lite to create a paywall.
Why Lite is free
Siren sits at the part of your business where people get paid. That’s not the kind of decision you make in fourteen days.
A trial works for tools where the question is “do I like clicking on this?”, but an incentive program takes a little time to really dial in and use properly. This is payment infrastructure, and because of that it needs to earn your confidence and trust. That doesn’t happen overnight, and I believe the best way to do that is by allowing people to use the tool themselves to see what we’re building here.
To put it another way, we believe that payout infrastructure asks a different question: will I still trust this when the program has fifty partners and a disputed commission from eight months ago?
You don’t answer that on a countdown. You answer it by installing the thing, wiring it into a real site, running a real program, and watching what real partners do to your data. You can always upgrade if the shape of the program pushes past what Lite covers, but the goal of Siren Lite is to make sure that you’ve more than gotten your value out of it before you’re asked to make that leap.
Or, maybe Lite will always be enough for you, and you never upgrade. That’s cool too.
Lite covers more than you’d think
All that said, there are definitely situations where people move up to Essentials or higher. The three main ones are rules for when two programs should compete rather than both pay, a branded front-end partner portal for partners who expect one, and weighted revenue-split payouts like pooled bonuses.
In spite of that, the ceiling is surprisingly high. Siren Lite handles most fundamental use-cases, including multiple programs on one site, percentage and fixed commissions running side by side, and running more-traditional sales programs. We have an ever-increasing list of program types we’ve observed in the wild and continue to add to this every day.
If you’re paying for a competing product right now, you may very well be able to switch to Siren Lite and save some money. The pricing page has the full breakdown if you want to check specifics.
